In May 2007, I participated in my first photo adventure at Arches National Park in Utah.  Photo adventures are trips organized by companies whose purpose it is to allow you to learn about both your camera and photography in breadth taking settings.  The instructors are professional photographers and use the lighting and settings to teach different aspects of outdoor and flash photography.  We were in Arches for five days and were lucky to have great weather for the entire stay.
