Cuban music is well known throughout the world.  It’s alive, and you can’t help but want to get up and dance.  We heard music almost every day we were there.  Whether it be at a restaurant, at our hotel, or on the street, small groups performed.  Of all of our musical experiences, two stood out.  The first night, we went to a tavern for dinner.  The band came out and performed non-stop for the two hours we were there, and they continued well into the night.  On Saturday, the Buena Vista Social Club performed at our hotel.  This internationally renowned group is now in its second generation.  Who cares, they were great.
