In October 2013, I took a photo workshop in the Eastern Sierras and Owens Valley in California.  By far, this workshop was the closest i have ever come to a true photography field course.  As such, it was much less about taking the iconic shots and true field work to learn the specifics of landscape photography.  It was a great experience, and I am pleased to have taken the course.
