In the Spring of 2008, I went to Holland on another photo adventure.  This trip was designed to photograph flowers.  Holland is known for its tulips and bulbs.  Each Spring, the country is awash with color as the fields blossom in preparation for the harvest of the bulbs.

We were extremely lucky.  The weather in Holland is rainy and extremely unpredictable, yet we had very little rain.  Depending upon the weather, the bulbs may peak at any time over a several week period.      They peaked while we were there.

The albums below reflect different parts of the trip.   The first four focus on the flowers.  The next two are of windmills and the Alkmaar Cheese Market.  The next includes some portrait work, and the last contains some fun images from Queen’s Day in Amsterdam.
