Galtaji

Galtaji is an ancient Hindu pilgrimage site about 12 miles from Jaipur in the  state of Rajasthan.

Galtaji is famous for its natural water springs and sits within a beautiful landscape and features temples, pavilions, natural springs and holy 'kunds' or pools.  The Temple has seven pools, holiest being the Galta Kund, which never goes dry. It is considered auspicious to take a bath in the holy waters of Galtaji.   Ubiquitious among the temples live feral Rhesus monkeys who are considered holy by the pilgrims and are fed by them.

Galtaji offered some shooting challenges because of the semi-naked bathing (especially near the women).  That having been said, we were able to get some interesting images.
