Sanganer is about 10 miles from Jaipur and is known for its crafts and hand-printed textiles. It is most well known for its quality handmade papers and for its hand printed textiles using block and screen printers. Traditional small floral prints form the specialty of Sanganer block printers.

We visited several hand-print textile factories where we saw fabrics being prepared for printing and the printing process itself.  The factories were small and dark with just a handful of workers, so it gave us great opportunity to photograph them as they worked.
