I grew up in Northern New Jersey just about ten miles from Manhattan. My childhood home, built by my maternal grandfather who was a brick mason, was so close to New York City that I could see the City skyline from the attic window.
I still have family that live in my home town and in other parts of Jersey, and I had not visited them since 2011 when I returned for a family wedding. So, it was time.
This really was a family visit, but both my cousin and brother were interested in taking me to places that they thought were photographically interesting. I visited for a week and went out shooting 4 times.
This is the result of those outings.
