My friends, Roy & Anne Allen and I went out to the Coachella Valley and the Salton Sea to photograph for an extended weekend.  Both Anne & Roy had been there before, but this was my first trip.

We were guided by Roy’s longtime friend and photographer Ken Cook who lives in the Cochella Valley (Palm Springs area).  The intent of the trip was to travel down to the Salton Sea which lies inland between the Cochella Valley and the Mexican Border.  In addition, there are areas nearby that are well worth seeing.
